Senior Accountant/Accountant

Job SummaryPart of the consolidation process for the group, including subsidiaries and affiliates, ensuring alignment with relevant accounting standards.Coordinate with finance teams across various countries to gather financial data and ensure its accuracy and completeness.Analyze financial results and variances and prepare a management report to update the senior management and provide insights and recommendations for decision-making purposes.Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesGroup ConsolidationPart of the consolidation process for the group, including subsidiaries and affiliates, ensuring alignment with relevant accounting standards.Coordinate with finance teams across various countries to gather financial data and ensure its accuracy and completeness.Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations to consolidate financial statements accurately.Implement and maintain consolidation systems and processes to streamline the consolidation process and enhance efficiency.Financial ReportingPrepare consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and notes to accounts in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Analyze financial results and variances and prepare a management report to update senior management and provide insights and recommendations for decision-making purposes.Develop and maintain financial reporting templates, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting across the organization.Compliance and GovernanceStay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of consolidation and reporting processes.Monitor compliance with the financial covenants.ProjectChampion business process enhancement and new project implementation.Qualifications:Professional Qualification – ACCA, CIMA, CA, Degree or equivalent.Requirements:Broad experiencein managing full spectrum of financial & management reporting, analysis, preferably in multinational corporations or audit firms.Highly motivatedindividual, independent and hands-on will be critical.Confident communicatorwith the ability to work with diverse stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds.In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards.Advanced skills in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.Total years of working experience: Min 5 years.#J-18808-Ljbffr
