A rapidly growing global shared service company specialized in power inductor manufacturing in Penang Island is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist the Singapore team with managing the Vietnam factory's accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing month-end closings, variance analysis, reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, audits, stock takes, and policy reviews, while collaborating with international stakeholders. This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, excellent communication and supervisory skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a willingness to travel overseas.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Singapore team in managing the accounting department of the Vietnam factory.
Work closely with internal stakeholders across different countries to gather process-related information and handle month-end closing activities and reporting.
Perform variance analysis for financial reporting, review monthly reconciliations and financial schedules, assist in cash flow forecasting, support statutory audits including preparation of audit schedules, assist with yearly stock takes and stock reconciliation, review policies, and improve processes.
Job Requirements
University Degree in Accounting or ACCA.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and supervisory skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels.
Detail-oriented and meticulous.
Willing to travel overseas.
