The OpportunityAs a Senior Business Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expansion within the Sales and New Business Development function.

Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and secure lucrative contracts
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through excellent communication and customer service
Thoroughly understand the company's products and services, and effectively communicate their value proposition to clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather market intelligence, analyse industry trends, and develop innovative solutions
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to secure new business
Accurately forecast sales and pipeline, and provide regular updates to management
Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall business development strategy
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years of experience in a business development or sales engineering role, preferably within the Penang or Perak region
Strong technical background and understanding of the industry, with the ability to translate complex technical information into compelling value propositions
Proven track record of successfully identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients at all levels
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
Adaptability and agility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
