To continuously understand the company and group technical capability, capacity and product range in order to create new business opportunities.
To constantly review and be aware of the company business and revenue trends to support and expand the business and revenue of the company.
To review and study all current customer lists to explore new business opportunities.
To discuss, review, and propose potential new business areas or customers with Top Management.
To constantly look out for new business segments or customers using available methods or contacts.
To advise Top Management on the latest business or market developments relating to current customers or products.
To maintain constant communication with HQ regarding new potential business opportunities or customers.
To liaise with potential new customers in all aspects of business, acting as the main point of communication between the company and potential customers.
To act as the lead for all internal discussions, meetings, and reviews related to potential new customers.
To collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify synergies and leverage collective expertise for the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
To perform and execute any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
To take accountability for the effectiveness of the QMS relating to the Department.
Travel is not frequent and depends on customer and company requirements, but it is typically around once a year.
Requirements
At least 3 years of Sales experience (B to B sales is a must)
Diploma, Degree, or Master's holder in a related field
Good proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin (covering China and Malaysia)
