Senior Executive - Payroll

Responsibilities:Ensure the Change Report (LP) is received by the 15th of each month.
Updating changed employee data into the HRIS system accurately, based on supporting documentation.
Following the established salary payment process flow in a correct and orderly manner.
Timely processing of statutory deduction payments and other related financial transactions before the stipulated closing time.
Ensuring salary payments are credited to employee accounts by the predetermined dates.
Monitoring the submission and verifying the accuracy of overtime claims in accordance with online attendance records.
Approving all employee leave requests before locking the payroll system for processing.
Ensure no discrepancies exist between the payroll system and other related systems.
Prepare necessary documents for tenders and surveys requested by Government Department.
Staying informed about updates and changes in the Employment Act and regulations of Statutory Bodies.
Prepare salary report and necessary copies for the Finance Department.
Compiling and organizing documents required for audit purposes.
Assists PNMB employees with their queries and concerns.
Regularly reviewing the list of long-serving employees for potential increases in employer EPF contributions.
Processing gratuity payments for eligible employees aged 55 and above.
Managing and updating i-account, I assist, and similar systems.
Ensure the filing system within the department is well-organized and efficient.
Maintaining high ethical standards and being constantly prepared as an HR staff member.
Being available and ready to provide assistance in all aspects as required by the role.
Job Requirements:Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration or any related field from a recognized university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resource. Those with experience in Payroll from manufacturing industry will have an added advantage.
In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, software, and processes. Knowledge in Worksy system is added advantageous.
Understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office suite (especially Excel).
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
