Conceptualize product ideas, develop and launch New Skincare/ Personal care/beauty products (including ongoing revamp of existing range).
Ensure efficient and profitable management of the product development process including supplier liaison, price negotiation, innovating packaging, and cost management.
Perform ongoing market analysis to keep track with consumer needs and competitor performance. Keep abreast with forthcoming trends to constantly identify new product development opportunities to stay ahead in the competition.
Work closely with marketing team to identify priorities for new products and enhancements.
To recruit suitable panels for product evaluation.
Perform product evaluation and product efficacy test.
Develop measures for the evaluation of products, products applications and product efficacy.
Work with Regulatory and Quality compliance department regarding compliance issues.
Supplier Expansion & Management of Suppliers' Database.
To perform other duties as the Company may require from time to time.
Requirements:
At least 3 years working experience in skin care industry / FMCG or related field will be added advantage.
A sound understanding in product development and category management metrics / techniques is essential.
Possess strong planning, organization and analytical skills to excel in multi-tasking.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and analytical mind that's avid in problem-solving.
Strong negotiation skills with a good analytical mind and business planning abilities.
Good team player and attentive to details.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Ability to communicate in Chinese will be an added advantage as the role will be required to liaise with foreign counterparts.#J-18808-Ljbffr
