About the Role
The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing plans for the sales of hybrid vegetable seeds and plant bio-stimulant products within the assigned territory.
This includes identifying market opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with dealers, driving product promotion, and achieving sales targets.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and continuous improvement of strategies to maximize market reach and revenue growth.
Responsibilities :
Develop and execute sales & marketing plans in the defined territory.
Deliver sales plans accurately and timely to achieve the sales budget in the defined territory.
Provide product technical knowledge and expertise to dealers and end users.
Assist dealers on product promotions and sales to end users.
Organize product field demos to dealers and key growers (field day).
Set up and coordinate field testing of new products/varieties.
Develop effective marketing plans for new product launches and sales execution.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, business, marketing, or related fields.
Required Skills :
Minimum 3 years' experience in the area of sales and marketing of vegetable seeds and plant biostimulant products in Malaysia.
Good understanding of market dynamics, requirements, and environment of the vegetable seeds and plant biostimulant business in Malaysia.
Demonstrated experience with field trials and new product development.
Demonstrated experience in new product launches and developing sales execution plans for new products/varieties.
Possess good negotiation and persuasion skills.
Possess good sales and marketing and new business development skills.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
