Senior Finance Executive/ Assistant Finance Manager

SENIOR FINANCE EXECUTIVE/ ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGERKey Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead and oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.
Support cash flow management and monitor working capital, ensuring effective liquidity management.
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
Review and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Manage and reconcile general ledger entries, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded.
Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare and review financial reports for management, highlighting key financial trends, performance, and areas for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax laws.
Coordinate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes.
Monitor and implement internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a senior finance position or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Proficiency in SQL/Autocount and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership capabilities and experience managing junior finance staff.
Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Exposure to business performance analysis and strategic financial planning.
