The Senior Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing impactful internal communication strategies and initiatives to inform and engage employees across all our regions, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and values.
This role serves as a key point of contact for day-to-day internal communications requests and partners with various stakeholders and departments to support organisational goals and initiatives.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of internal communication best practices.
Responsibilities:Content development and distribution:Create engaging content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet updates, emails, employee network posts and presentations, and ensure they reach the relevant target audience.
Employee engagement:Facilitate initiatives that enhance employee engagement and feedback, including surveys.
Strategy implementation:Assist in the development and execution of internal communication and change management strategies that help employees understand and align with corporate objectives and company culture.
Planning:Manage the central planning of internal communications for various programmes, applying appropriate prioritisation.
Channel Management:Manage and optimise internal communication channels, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of information.
Collaboration:Work closely with various stakeholders in the business to ensure clear, engaging and consistent messaging, aligned to corporate tone of voice, and support cross-functional initiatives.
Monitoring & Reporting:Track the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and use data to refine and improve strategies.
Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:At least 4+ years of experience in internal communications or a related field, preferably within in a multinational B2B setting.
Desired Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to transform complex concepts into compelling content that is easy to consume.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, email marketing software, collaboration tools, Webex & MS Teams).
Ability to work with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation, using strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
Strong analytical skills to assess communication effectiveness.
Change Management experience is a plus.
