In summary, the role exists to assist the Project Development team in the planning and authority liaison stages. One of the mandatory skills is to have experience dealing with authorities in the purview of the entire project development. The job scope is as follows:
Job ResponsibilitiesAssist the Head of Project Development Coordination in all matters pertaining to project management and development processes.
In charge of plan and specification analysis to provide clear, trackable, and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for construction.
Coordinate with relevant authority bodies, for example, Majlis Perbandaran, to ensure the project obtains the necessary approvals within the scheduled time frame.
Liaise and coordinate with consultants on the progression of work to ensure the assigned project is completed on time.
Liaise with consultants and relevant authority bodies to obtain development approvals until Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC).
Periodically update the team on work progress for presentation to the Management.
Liaise with other Departments at meetings relevant to project operations to ensure time and cost plans are updated to reflect the latest information.
Attend site inspections whenever needed pertaining to authority bodies' approval and project management.
Liaise with all consultants in expediting drawings and related information.
Monitor fieldwork, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards, requirements, procedures, specifications, and codes.
Monitor project cost and schedule performance, including providing project cost and schedule control when needed.
Ensure completion of final project documentation and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job RequirementsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or any equivalent discipline from a recognized higher learning institution.
At least 8 - 10 years of working experience with extensive exposure in property project and planning development, including dealing with authorities.
Knowledgeable in Property Project Planning and construction management.
Possess good skills in planning and supervision.
Understand detailed drawings, standards, and work programs, and be able to comprehend the process of Inspection & requirements.
Independent and able to meet deadlines.
Willing to be based in the Northern Office with expectations to travel within northern project locations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
