The role involves developing and implementing human resource plans, overseeing HR operations, guiding HR executives, ensuring compliance with labor laws and other HR-related laws and regulations, and analyzing HR effectiveness to support the company's mission and strategy.
Responsibilities
Ensures efficiency and effectiveness in operation by:
Reviewing and recommending improved operating policies and procedures.
Providing recommendations/approvals in employment-related matters such as recruitment, transfer, etc.
according to delegated authority levels.
Providing guidance to line managers in HR-related matters.
Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to.
Ensuring efficiency in salary and benefits administration.
Guiding and advising team members to ensure overall operational effectiveness.
Ensure the right manpower plan is in place to meet the company's business/operations direction.
Ensure recruitment needs from other departments are met and the right strategies are in place to source potential candidates.
Recommend and review compensation and benefits to attract and retain talent.
Keep up-to-date with market practices in compensation and benefits programs and recommend enhancements when required.
Participate in relevant surveys and manage vendors/consultants to ensure deliverables are met by selected third-party agents.
Ensure the performance management system is in place and the annual review process is executed accordingly every year.
Ensure reports and documents related to compliance and management reporting are well managed and monitored.
Lead HR-related projects and provide guidance to team members, where necessary.
Provide input on other HR matters as and when necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR management experience, including leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
