Senior Mechanical Engineer (5 Working Days, Pasir Gudang)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To fully responsible to bill of material (BOM) management of all products. Active communication to relevant parties on BOM changes/ updates. To ensure data accuracy in ERP system.To propose developing customized design and cost estimation for all products.To generate and distribute engineering information document for each production job (products drawings, BOM specifications, production templates, installation instructions and parts manuals). To provide engineering support and advice on production as and when required (e.g.: mechanical installation troubleshooting and other technical support).General engineering record keeping and updating.Propose and execute necessary improvement and cost savings to improve productivity, profitability, and design function.Liaison with principal:New drawings and job process flow management.Design and material updates.Operating and service manual, parts manual.Instruction manual or installation instruction.To advise material, components, and qualified vendors for parts purchases for quality and cost effectiveness. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering, or automotive engineering.Minimum 5 years in manufacturing plant with similar role.Experienced in BOM creation and maintenance in ERP system.Ability to perform analysis and calculation of material figures and mechanical properties.Meticulous and able to work under fast-paced work environment.
