Source materials locally and internationally.
Monitor delivery of purchased equipment/items.
Ensure purchased equipment/items meet required specifications.
Maintain accurate purchase records and pricing information.
Quarterly stock counting.
Manage approved vendors; maintain and update supplier database.
Conduct vendor screening and supply market research.
Prepare and issue tender documents as per requirements.
Review and evaluate quotations/tenders from vendors.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and company SOPs.
Assist in internal process improvement and cost-saving through procurement strategies.
Perform any other assigned ad-hoc duties as required.
Invoice administration – assessment/settlement of invoice and scrutinise and verify incoming invoices.
Monitor and provide support in areas of general office supplies and services.
Preparation of reports and memos for the departments.
Assisting in asset management.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma or Degree in related fields.
Effectively bilingual with good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin (to communicate and liaise with Chinese speaking overseas and local counterparts/vendors).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and using the functions of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other communication tools.
Relevant experience in related field is an added advantage.
