The Senior RTR Accountant is responsible for managing the end-to-end Record-to-Report process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, while driving process improvements and maintaining strong internal controls.

Description
Prepare a complete set of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Audit Schedules) for month-end and year-end reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and maintaining a strong focus on controllership.
Assist the Finance Manager in all aspects of year-end statutory reporting, including audits, corporate tax filings, and GST submissions. This includes preparing audit schedules, financial statements, and managing audit queries and issues.
Support the Finance Manager in implementing internal controls framework (COSO) policies and processes, and actively contribute to any transformation or process improvement initiatives.
Help drive the Shared Service Center's goal of becoming 100% paperless by redesigning controls, practices, and processes.
Take on other ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Profile
Degree/Diploma in Accounting, preferably with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ICAEW.
At least 5 years of work experience, with the first 2 to 3 years ideally spent in a public accounting firm (candidates from Big 4 firms are highly preferred), followed by 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting and commercial experience in an MNC with a hybrid reporting structure.
Candidates with no public accounting experience but with strong backgrounds in managing accounting and commercial finance functions will also be considered.
Experience in major transformational projects related to financial systems and processes (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blackline) is a plus.
Solid knowledge of accounting standards is essential.
