Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to supervise overall production area.
Provide clear, regular communication of production priorities, challenges, and status across the shift to meet production schedules, goals and objectives.
Directly manage Operators team, routinely provide guidance on career development in your team and regularly conducting performance management, engagement activities and monitor attendance.
Responsible for labor planning and allocation between processes, 6S, line cleanliness, tardiness and training.
Collaborate with Engineering/Supporting Team to solve day to day excursion, implement line process changes or new implementations for improvements.
Periodically audit production adherence to visual aids and standard instructions.
QualificationsREQUIRED:
Bachelor Degree in relevant field/ Diploma with experience.
At least 4-6 years experience in supervising in manufacturing.
Must be able to support night shift based on shift rotation.
PREFERRED:
Prior supervisory/management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with production reports used to assign work, prioritize WIP and track output.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of SSD manufacturing processes and associated equipment and testers.
Familiarity with MES, SPC, SAP and similar applications/systems used to monitor drives flow and equipment performance.
Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Intermediate level, minimum).
