Responsibilities:
Assist the C&I maintenance supervisor to ensure proper execution and effective maintenance of the Power Station in accordance with safety, environmental and legal regulations.
Pro-activeness in solving problems to ensure all machineries and equipment in the plant is in tip-top condition and to minimize operation downtime.
Carry out maintenance activities including investigation of defects, analysis and rectification as directed.
Maintain a high safety conscious working environment and ensure compliance with all company and legislative Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements.
Carry out and ensure housekeeping is done after completion of all work done by the job holder or by short term contractors under supervision.
Comply with all applicable SHEQ legal requirements and our stakeholders' specifications by establishing policies, programmes and practices in order to conduct operations in a healthy, safe and environmentally sound manner with safety first, quality foremost & pursuing excellence.
To perform other additional tasks that are relevant and necessary to accomplish the company overall objectives, which may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or
Diploma in Electronic Engineering or
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or
Certificate in Electronic Engineering (Control & Instrumentation) with 3 years working experience or
Certificate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with 3 years working experience or
Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) with 3 years working experience
Optional requirement or added advantage:
Authorized Entrant and Standby Person for Confined Space (AESP).
Minimum years of working experience related to the work scope:
Open to fresh graduates.
Additional Skills:
Hands on with analytical skills
Basic computer literacy
Good knowledge of EC&I Engineering practices, functions and processes involved in Power Station EC&I maintenance.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Good verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
