Site Safety Supervisor

General summary: Site Safety Supervisor will be responsible for providing support to the project management team, supervisors, foreman and workers. This position will provide leadership and coordination of the day-to-day safety requirement of the assigned project.
Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the siteCorrecting any unsafe practicesChecking of sub-contractors work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied withLiaise with contractor's safety supervisors appointed under Regulation 26 with safety of work undertaken by sub-contractorTo handle and monitor general workers problems and report to HODMaintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and proceduresLiaise with JKKP/DOSH and authorized department (eg. Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB and etc) to maintain company progressive safety standards and requirementPrepare monthly Safety Audit Report to the management on timely basisSkills Required: Able to use basic computer skillsGood communication and presentation skillsWorking experience in an Engineering solution based companyTeam player and able to work with all levels of staffQualifications: A registered Safety & Health Supervisor with DIOSH/NIOSH/JKKP with Yellow Book holderCandidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalentAt least 2 years working experience.Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.Applicants must be willing to work around Klang Valley
