Site Supervisor

Responsibilities for Site Supervisor Oversee day to day operations of the site Supervising, coordinating, monitoring, inspection & review of work progress on site Work alongside with Project Manager Preparing & submitting work progress reports Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of site, equipment & materials Evaluating the performance of vendors/suppliers/subcons and instituting disciplinary measures as needed.
Supervise and evaluate vendors/suppliers/subcons & keep accurate records of workers attendance and timesheets & maintaining an accurate record of site attendance Set project goals and oversee projects to completion; schedule and track assignments Briefing, supervising and instructing the construction team as well as vendors/suppliers/subcontractors.
Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
Analysing blueprints to ensure that construction projects meet design, safety, and budget specifications.
Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
Control and monitor site cleanliness & work place comply to applicable local authority regulations.
Any ad-hoc matter designated by Site Agent / Project Manager / Director Qualifications and Requirements Diploma/Certificate in a Mechanical Engineer or related fields Must be CSWIP 3.1 certified Minimum 3 years of related experience Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle Must have understanding of construction/engineering terms, scheduling and planning concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, MS Excel & MS Project.
Good analytical, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Reading comprehension of technical drawings Good written and spoken communication skills (English/Bahasa Malaysia).
Knowledge of mandarin is an added advantage.
Strong analytic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must be willing for travelling as instructed by management.
