As a Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing consulting engineering services for building structures in Penang, Malaysia.
You will be responsible for designing and producing structural solutions for major projects, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring project schedules and budgets are met.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on both small and large-scale projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and directly liaising with clients.
The Opportunity
Undertake structural design for a variety of building projects.
Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, and reports.
Participate in BIM coordination and support project BIM execution plans.
Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines and structural technicians.
Provide guidance to junior engineers and ensure smooth project administration.
Is this role right for you?
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Structural Engineering with expertise in building projects, including low and high-rise structures.
Proficiency in Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and programming skills.
Strong design ability, engineering knowledge, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
