### Job Description

MISC Berhad, a global leader in a wide range of maritime and logistics services, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Support Representative to join our growing team in George Town, Penang. #### Key Responsibilities

- **Customer Support:** Provide exceptional service to clients by responding to inquiries about products, services, and company policies both via phone and email in a timely manner.
- **Issue Resolution:** Identify, track, and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the company's CRM system to help with future customer engagements and enhance service quality.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with various internal departments, including sales, technical support, and operations, to address customer concerns and facilitate seamless service delivery.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services to assist customers proficiently and promote upselling opportunities where appropriate.
- **Feedback Collection:** Gather customer feedback and suggestions for improvement and relay this information to the management team to enhance product offerings and service processes.
- **Training and Mentoring:** Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices, and cultivating a supportive team environment.
- **Performance Metrics:** Meet or exceed assigned key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to the overall success of the support team by actively participating in team meetings and strategy sessions.
- **Adaptability:** Quickly adapt to changes within the organization, including new products, policies, and procedures.

#### Requirements

- **Education:** A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- **Experience:** At least 3 years of experience in a customer support or related role, with a track record of handling customer inquiries effectively.
- **Personality Traits:**
- **Confident:** Must demonstrate confidence in dealing with customers and addressing their concerns.
- **Independent:** Able to work autonomously and make sound decisions without significant guidance.
- **Soft Skills:**
- **Attention to Detail:** Detail-oriented with the ability to process information accurately and efficiently.
- **Leadership Ability:** Demonstrates the ability to lead by example and inspire team collaboration, even in a support role.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in using CRM software and other customer management tools; a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- **Interpersonal Skills:** Strong interpersonal skills that promote positive interactions with customers and colleagues alike.
