Job Description Position Summary Reporting to the Manager, Program Support, the Sustainability Programs Analyst, ESG will have a wide range of duties, all of which are in the spirit of ensuring program success through the successful management of compliance programs as part of Assent's Professional Services department. The Sustainability Programs Analyst, ESG will play an integral role in program delivery activities, focused on our sustainability programs. Key Requirements & Responsibilities Support program delivery and execution for Assent's clients, focused on our sustainability programs and tasks and activities related to the smooth operation of those programs. Your role has a wide ranges of duties, of which your focus may change based on business needs, including but not limited to: Utilize set analysis guidelines to evaluate ESG program responses and various supporting evidence; Collaborate with other team members to evaluate complex policies and labor standards (e.g. Human Rights Policy, Proof of Labor Rights Risk Mitigation); Generate and send Corrective Actions based on ESG program responses through Assent's platform workflow; Collaborate with the Regulatory and Solutions teams to ensure we have up to date lists of key Evidence Review search terms; Collaborate with our Supplier Support team to understand how to continually support suppliers to better our clients' ESG programs; Possess intermediate regulatory knowledge in order to efficiently support our client program needs; Keep informed of Product and regulatory releases and updates in order to efficiently support our clients program needs; Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent. (a degree in Sustainability or equivalent is an asset); 1-2 years related work experience (research & data; awareness of GRI and SASB standards); Proven experience learning a proprietary software tool would be considered an asset; Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities at one time; Solid analysis skills; Proven computer proficiency using MS Office Suite and Google Applications; Problem-solver who is a fast learner, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile; You are emotionally intelligent - you are self-aware, can see things from various points of view, and self-regulate; You are intellectually curious with excellent problem-solving skills; Demonstrated analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset; Confidence to work independently and autonomously; You are highly adaptable, flexible and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment; You are a strong team player, are always willing to lend a helping hand, and are motivated to contribute your expertise to a diverse pool of resources to support business goals; You are a critical thinker and can suggest, implement, and support efficient and effective operations; You are open to feedback, coachable and always striving to self-improve.
