The TA Sourcing Specialist, part of the EMEA & APAC Sourcing Hub, supports sourcing and recruitment activities at Smith+Nephew GBS Services, focusing on South Asia and other markets based on business priorities.
Key accountabilities include identifying and recruiting candidates using various sourcing techniques, developing proactive recruitment marketing activities, building candidate pipelines, conducting phone screenings, reviewing CVs, and providing recruitment coordination support such as scheduling interviews, posting job adverts, and maintaining candidate databases.
What will you be doing?The TA Sourcing Specialist sources candidates through various channels such as direct sourcing (LinkedIn, Jobstreet), internal databases (Workday, Beamery), job boards, referrals, networking, and social media.
They handle the initial hiring stages, including sourcing, screening CVs, conducting phone screenings, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling interviews.They work closely with TA Specialists/Leads and Hiring Managers to understand the required abilities, requirements, and experience for identified roles.
Additionally, they collaborate with the TA team on various recruitment projects, such as Employer Value Proposition (EVP), candidate experience surveys, candidate pipeline development, recognition, reporting, and educating hiring managers.The Specialist develops innovative recruitment strategies, identifies new sourcing channels, and shares standard processes, industry, and market intelligence with the TA team.
They demonstrate Smith & Nephew's cultural pillars and EVP to engage and convert leads into applicants, while also focusing on attracting a diverse workforce.
What will you need to be successful?The ideal candidate should possess an MBA/PGDM or a bachelor's degree in Business Management, HR, or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience as a Recruiter or Sourcing Specialist in RPO, onsite, recruitment agency, or an in-house recruitment model.
They should have outstanding sourcing skills, including expertise in Boolean Search, X-ray Search, Jobstreet, and LinkedIn, and a strong talent-hunter approach.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Workday and recruiting strategies such as sourcing, screening, and interviewing methods is helpful.
Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate customer focus, innovative thinking, and excellent social skills, making them capable of effectively handling the recruitment process and identifying top talent.
The EMEA & APAC Sourcing Team comprises multilingual Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialists who support EMEA & APAC TA Specialists/Leads and Hiring Managers.
Established in 2020, the team is part of a new in-house Talent Acquisition model.Note - This position is for 1 year contract period.
