As a Team Lead at Mercedes-Benz Tech Malaysia, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, ensuring the alignment of business activities with the company's strategic goals, and driving operational excellence.
You will foster an environment that encourages professional development, innovation, and efficiency while promoting collaboration within the global Mercedes-Benz Tech Hubs network (Home of Tech).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHigh Performing Team
a) Lead and manage a high-performing team across all aspects, including personnel, content, and finances aligned with business management aspect.
b) Act as a mentor, promoting knowledge sharing, professional growth, and enhancing the skills of team members to contribute to their career development.
Strategic Alignment
a) Align business stream activities with the company's strategic goals while positioning the team effectively within the global network of Mercedes-Benz Tech Hubs (Home of Tech).
b) Drive the continuous development of business stream by establishing and expanding services, generating innovative solutions, and aligning with the strategic direction of Home of Tech.
Operational Excellence
a) Implement and oversee strategies to maintain and enhance overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
b) Ensure adherence to compliance guidelines within and beyond the organizational unit while actively promoting collaboration and knowledge transfer across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation level / Training
a) Degree in the field of computer science or business informatics, as well as several years of professional experience in IT-specific corporate roles with management responsibility.
Experience (type of)
a) Proven experience in operational, conceptual, and technical aspects across various phases of IT product development.
b) Expertise in leading and strategically aligning distributed agile development teams, with a strong track record of collaborating with international partners and teams.
Specific knowledge/Skill
a) Commitment to self-assessment and continuous improvement, with a focus on personal and professional growth.
b) Skilled in managing service delivery to meet quality standards and customer expectations, with experience in performance monitoring and improvement.
