What you'll do:  Take the lead on recruitment for our R&D team in Malaysia and across broader Asia, managing the full cycle from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and finalising offers.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified technical candidates across various functions (e.g., software engineering, data science, and product development).
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, create job descriptions, and strategise on finding the best talent in the region.
Utilise creative sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.
Deliver an excellent candidate experience by managing clear, timely communication throughout the hiring process.
Collaborate with HR and talent teams to streamline recruitment processes and improve hiring metrics for quality, speed, and diversity.
Who you are: Proven experience in tech recruiting in Malaysia and the broader Asia region, ideally with a focus on R&D and engineering roles.
Strong understanding of the local tech talent landscape and market trends in Malaysia and Asia.
Demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring an efficient and effective candidate journey.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders.
Experience with ATS systems (preferably Team Tailor) and recruitment tools (such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Insights) to manage pipelines and reporting.
