Job Responsibilities
Electrical System Maintenance:
To ensure that the electrical systems in the woodworking factory are functioning correctly and safely.
This includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical components such as wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and switches.
Machine Maintenance:
To perform regular maintenance on woodworking machineries to ensure they operate efficiently.
This can involve checking and repairing electrical connections, sensors, and motors.
Safety Compliance:
Electrical safety is crucial in a woodworking factory due to the presence of wood dust, which can be highly flammable.
You will need to ensure that all electrical systems and equipment meet safety standards and are properly grounded to prevent electrical hazards and fires.
Emergency Repairs:
In case of electrical failures or emergencies, you will be responsible for quickly diagnosing and fixing the issue to minimize downtime in production.
New Equipment Installation:
When the factory installs new woodworking machinery or upgrades existing equipment, you'll be involved in the electrical installation process.
This includes wiring, connecting control panels, and configuring the electrical systems to work with the new equipment.
Troubleshooting:
Woodworking machinery can be complex, and electrical issues may arise.
You will need to use your troubleshooting skills to identify and rectify problems efficiently to prevent disruptions to production.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining detailed records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections for ensuring the factory's compliance with regulations and tracking the performance of equipment over time.
Collaboration:
Working closely with other maintenance personnel, such as mechanics and technicians, to address issues that involve both electrical and mechanical components.
Emergency Response:
Being prepared for electrical emergencies, such as power outages or electrical fires, and knowing how to respond appropriately for maintaining a safe working environment.
