Job ID: 20240170 C(A40)AH Job Position: Network Engineer Company Background: IT solution and service provider Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am 6:00pm Weekend and Public Holiday on Project basis (only if needed) Working Location: Kwsn Perindustrian Terbau II, Johor Bahru.
Salary Package: RM 3,500 ~ RM 5,500 (Benefits: All allowance will be disclosed in the interview session) A Network Engineer in charge of designing, implementing and support the IT network infrastructure for clients.
Their duties include attending site surveys, study, project planning and implementation of the network infrastructure and troubleshooting network errors or other technical issues.
Responsibilities: Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel, such as clients and vendors Attending project study for system design and network infrastructure design Prepare pre and post-project documentation Install, configure, test and maintain network infrastructure Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution and escalation Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent Networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, Switching, Routing, VLAN , Wireless) Network security knowledge (Firewall, EndPoint Security, Policy and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management) Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources Proficient in English with excellent speaking and writing skills, capable of handling calls and meetings with senior management, customers, and vendors Hands-on experience with configuration, monitoring and network diagnostic CCNA/HCIA or higher Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantageous Minimum 3 years working experience in a network operation position
