Salary Package: RM 3,500 ~ RM 5,500 (Benefits: All allowance will be disclosed in the interview session) A Presales Engineer plays a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical expertise and support to the sales team.
You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and propose suitable IT solutions.
Your responsibilities will include conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical proposals, and addressing customer queries regarding our products and services.
You will collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent Proven experience in a technical sales or presales role within the IT industry Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, virtualization and cloud computing technologies Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions Experience with solution selling and crafting tailored proposals to meet customer needs Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Project management skills for managing presales engagements effectively Relevant certification is a plus Minimum 2 years working experience in IT field Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate IT solutions Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services Prepare technical proposals, including solution designs, pricing, and implementation plans Work closely with product development and engineering teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product capabilities Assist in the preparation of RFP (Request for Proposal) responses and other sales documentation Provide technical support to the sales team during customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors' offerings to effectively position our solutions in the market Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their evolving needs and challenges
