What you will do: You will be responsible for delivering value-added services of the HR function to support business growth, enhance employee engagement and organization effectiveness. You will also involve in developing local policies, while ensuring alignment with standard practices and procedures.
How you will do it: Work with Country HR Manager, Malaysia to execute people strategy and agenda in alignment of business growth aspirations. Collaborate with cross HR functions like regional HRBP, HR shared service centre and centre of excellence to deliver a great employee experience with our HR operation excellence initiatives. Manage the team and individual matters with high complexity and minimize external reputation risks. Manage dispute resolutions with win-win and balance approach. Lead investigations and implement remediation actions as needed. Lead/participate in HR projects to drive continuous improvement and relevancy; and collaborate across HR functions in support of the CI effort e.g. foreign employees work pass application process; etc. Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and assess talent gaps; and develop short/long term talent strategies with support from Talent Acquisition. Establish required competencies and skill levels which ultimately improves the performance of the organization. Stay informed on local employment laws and company policies and share relevant information with business leaders and HR colleagues to enable effectiveness of management of industrial/employee relations. Support implementation of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring activities as needed. Support the local change management related to HR Reimagining for Malaysia. Handle HR Ops activities that need to be resided in country and cannot be offshore to SSC e.g. benefits administration, local training administration including getting government funding. What we look for: Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field or possess an HR professional certification. At least 6 years related experience in HR Business Partner role. System minded and experience in SAP, Workday, Humanica will be an added advantage. Highly analytical and process-oriented Excellent communication & motivational skills Proficient in Microsoft office A high degree of proactivity, creativity and latitude is expected. Willingness to take on new challenges.
