Assistant Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities  Assist the Maintenance Manager to: 
Plan, schedule and oversee all maintenance, repair, and installation related activities by managing a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors. Ensure all maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy. Allocate workload and supervise maintenance technicians. Develop maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues. Maintain, forecast, order and price negotiation for spare parts inventory. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. Keep maintenance logs/reports on maintenance technicians' activities. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.  Requirement Proven track record in maintenance management, preferably in a retail or service industry with multiple locations.  Experience in planning maintenance operations. Solid understanding of technical aspects of electrical, machinery, equipment, plumbing, software, hardware, etc. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and researching skills. Able to anticipate issues and identify resolutions in a timely manner. Able to come up with innovations toward cost reduction, time savings through everyday exposure to outlet issues.
