YTL Corporation Berhad is seeking a dedicated and passionate Call Center Associate to join our dynamic team in George Town, Penang. ### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Interaction:** Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages from customers with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively.
- **Problem-Solving:** Utilize strong analytical skills to identify issues presented by customers and provide effective solutions while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- **Information Management:** Accurately document customer interactions and feedback in our CRM systems to ensure that all information is readily accessible for future reference.
- **Product Knowledge:** Maintain an in-depth understanding of YTL Corporation's products and services to effectively address customer queries and promote our offerings.
- **Conflict Resolution:** Employ negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and manage customer complaints, ensuring a positive outcome for both the company and the customer.
- **Sales Support:** Assist in upselling and cross-selling products and services where appropriate, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
- **Feedback Collection:** Gather customer feedback and relay important information to relevant departments to help improve our products and services.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members and other departments to share insights and brainstorm new approaches that enhance the customer experience.
- **Training and Development:** Participate in ongoing training sessions to improve product knowledge, customer service techniques, and personal development.

### **Requirements:**

- **Education:** High school diploma required; additional education in customer service or related fields is a plus.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service or call center environment, preferably in a fast-paced setting.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and commitment to the team.
- **Communication Skills:** Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in additional languages (especially Bahasa Malay or Mandarin) is an advantage.
- **Technical Proficiency:** Comfortable using CRM software and various communication tools; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
