POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Commercial Officer is responsible for leading and executing the overall sales strategy to drive growth, profitability, and market share within the agricultural industry across Asia and other regional markets. This role requires creating a sales action plan to meet monthly and annual targets for both new and existing business and leading the sales division to achieve the established targets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and oversee the sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving revenue growth.Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong market presence.Identify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to drive customer acquisition and retention strategies.Monitor sales performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve sales outcomes.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and success.Manage and optimize sales budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.Stay informed of market trends, competitors, and industry developments to ensure the company remains competitive.Report directly to the management, providing regular updates on sales performance and strategic initiatives. JOB REQUIREMENTS Preferably Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Minimum 15 years of experience in sales/business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in agriculture, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or highly regulated industries. Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and leading high-performing sales teams.Strong business acumen with the ability to identify new market opportunities and drive strategic initiatives.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a results-driven mindset.
