**Job Description:**

Boustead Holdings Berhad is seeking a reliable and hardworking Customer Service Assistant to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall customer experience. This part-time position requires a commitment to excellence, effective communication skills, and the ability to creatively solve problems while maintaining a positive attitude.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Customer Interaction:**
- Engage with customers through face-to-face interactions, telephone calls, and emails to address inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues.
- Maintain a customer-first approach, ensuring a high level of satisfaction by actively listening to customer needs and responding appropriately.

2. **Problem Resolution:**
- Utilize creativity and critical thinking skills to identify solutions for customer complaints and challenges, escalating issues when necessary to the appropriate department.
- Document customer interactions and feedback in a clear and concise manner using the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.

3. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with team members and other departments to streamline processes and ensure timely resolutions to customer concerns.
- Participate in team meetings to share insights and suggest improvements based on customer feedback and data analysis.

4. **Data Management:**
- Leverage data analytics to monitor customer service trends, assess performance metrics, and identify opportunities for service enhancement.
- Prepare reports on customer feedback and service quality to support strategic initiatives.

5. **Training and Development:**
- Assist in training new team members on customer service procedures and best practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional development to enhance skills related to customer service.

6. **Promotional Campaigns:**
- Support marketing initiatives by informing customers of promotional campaigns and ensuring effective communication regarding products and services.

**Requirements:**

- **Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service role or related field.
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Reliable: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and takes responsibility for completing tasks accurately and timely.
- Hardworking: Possesses a proactive attitude, willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

- **Soft Skills:**
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to customers and team members.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions to improve customer experience and service delivery.

- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.

- **Availability:** Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
