Head, Business Growth Development (Solar & Renewable Energy)Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and drive strategic partnerships.
This role will be pivotal in shaping our business development strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on results.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive collaboration and growth.
Sales Strategy: Oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts and adjust strategies as necessary.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for business development goals.
Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and foster connections.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a significant track record of leadership and success.
Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive strategies.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team toward achieving ambitious goals.
