Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy and Policy Development
-Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
-Lead the creation and execution of HR policies, ensuring they reflect industry best practices and local legal requirements.
- Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
-Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract top talent in tech, engineering, and creative fields.
-Work closely with department heads to understand workforce needs and ensure timely and effective hiring.
- Employee Engagement and Culture
-Foster a positive workplace culture by organising team-building events, and recognition programmes, and championing employee well-being.
-Develop and implement employee engagement strategies that reflect VTF's values of innovation, creativity, and collaboration.
- Performance Management and Development
-Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee growth and organisational goals. o Lead initiatives for employee training and development, with a focus on leadership, technical skills, and personal growth.
- Compensation and Benefits Management
-Oversee compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring they remain competitive and motivate high performance.
-Recommend and manage employee incentives, wellness programmes, and other perks tailored to the needs of a tech company.
- Compliance and Risk Management
-Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and regulations, including overseeing payroll administration and employee contracts.
-Manage HR-related risks, including employee relations, legal issues, and safety compliance.

-Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insights on people management and organisational structure.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, ideally within the tech or startup industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws in Malaysia.
- Proven track record in recruitment, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a startup mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Visionary leadership, with a desire to grow into a Chief People Officer role.
- Experience with HR systems, data analytics, and talent management tools.
