Function & Primary Responsibilities  Part code creation, part code maintenanceLiaise with finance to ensure proper part classSource and negotiate the most cost-effective contract and salesConduct product research and sourcing new vendors. (Lab, R&D, Storage, PM, Direct materials, NBR)Prepare the price comparison and negotiate for cost-effective purchasesIssue purchase orders and get approvalSend PO to suppliers. Ensure that orders acknowledged with firm delivery date.Liaise with planners on direct material arrival.Review quality of purchased productFollow up the entire purchasing process and after sales serviceManaging purchase orders and maintaining purchase recordHandling tax exemption applicationSupplier assessment & evaluationEnsure AVL up to dateCreate and maintain good relationships with vendorsCollaborate with financial team members on contract, invoicing, and other financial mattersMaintain ISO documents are review timelySupplier audit on siteSupport internal auditing (ISO, 5S)Support monthly stock countPrepare purchasing reports
