Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all quality control and quality assurance activities in manufacturing processes; responsible and accountable for all activities and outcomes related to Products and Compliance audits.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards (ISO 9001, IATF16949).
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues, ensuring timely resolutions; ensure all internal and external reported failures are identified, investigated, and resolved appropriately.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of quality processes and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and suppliers, to ensure product quality.
• Conduct audits of internal processes and suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on reducing defects, improving yield, and enhancing overall product quality.
Qualifications & Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field with at least 5+ years' relevant experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001) and experience in maintaining and auditing quality systems. Experience in IATF16949 is an added advantage.
• Proven experience with Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Measures in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively. (Mandarin is an advantage)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, can work collaboratively across departments.
• Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO9001, IATF16949, etc) is highly preferred.
