Main Job Descriptions Develop and implement the quality management system, ensuring compliance with the IATF 16949 quality system, ISO9001, and ISO14001 standards.Establish and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to customer specifications.Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and implement preventive actions.Implement statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and control key quality characteristics during SMT and DIP production processes.Lead and support root cause analysis activities to identify the underlying causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.Ensure compliance with IPC standards and customer-specific requirements related to product quality, workmanship, and reliability.Provide quality input during the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, ensuring that products are designed for manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.Work closely with the engineering team to review and approve engineering changes, ensuring they meet quality and manufacturability standards.Conduct design reviews and provide feedback on design concepts, materials, and manufacturing processes to optimize product quality and cost.Develop and deliver quality training programs to enhance the quality awareness and skills of employees at all levels.Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to drive supplier quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards.Collaborate with customers and external auditors during external audits and ensure successful completion of customer-specific quality requirements.Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Six Sigma projects, process capability analysis, and implementation of Kanban systems, to improve overall process efficiency and reduce defects.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry.Extensive knowledge and experience with the IATF 16949 quality system, ISO9001, and ISO14001 standards.Strong understanding and experience with failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis methodologies.Familiarity with IPC standards related to electronics manufacturing, such as IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and IPC-7711/7721.Proven experience in managing and improving quality control processes in SMT and DIP production processes.Solid understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Design for Manufacturability, Quality, and Cost concepts.Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools, including process capability analysis.Experience in implementing and managing Kanban systems for efficient material flow and inventory control.
