R&D Manager (Waterproofing / Flooring / Coating)

Responsibilities: Assist the R&D Director - APAC in executing the long-term Flooring Product strategy at RPM/Tremco CPG facilities.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Flooring R&D team.Collaborate with the APAC Market Segment Team to implement the Stage Gate Process and allocate R&D resources.Oversee the transfer of Flooring products from other regions, including vendor sourcing and production validation.Define timelines and lead R&D projects from feasibility to commercialization.Conduct regular meetings to track development progress and address issues.Develop new products based on regional construction needs and enhance existing ones.Lead the Regional Expert Team (RET) for Flooring, reporting on progress and challenges.Support APAC plants and identify cost-saving opportunities through formulation optimization.Work with Technical, Production, and Engineering teams to improve processes.Ensure effective communication of technical information within the R&D team.Lead sustainability initiatives, focusing on raw material substitution.Manage product regulatory compliance and EHS systems integration in the region.
